WACOM Bring your Vision to Life!

WACOM: Bring your Vision to Life: Semifinalist!

Seriously, I didn't expect to end up amongst the semifinalists. In the beginning of the process of creating my entry I was thinking: "maybe I have a chance, if I just gather enough friends to vote for me, and spread the word on my image so others might find it, like it and :+fav: it..." But as the contest started, it became quite obvious that I just don't have enough watchers to gather up that sort of votes (I saw an entry with 500+ :+fav:'s just after I submitted mine and I just thought I was screwed.

Enter WACOM judges and suddenly I am amongst the semifinalists.
Im still in a slight shock about this.
Obviously, a flurry of :+fav:'s have appeared. 600+ :+fav:'s in less then 24 hours.
Thank you all.
I obviously cannot thank and reply to every :+fav: and comment made on this image, but thank you.

Thank you WACOM-competition judges for deeming my entry good enough to end up amongst the 50 semifinalists. I am honoured.

And above all, Thank you to my wife, =Airgid for supporting me and telling me I am improving, for giving me constructive critique as well as kicking my butt when I need it. I would be nothing without you

This is my entry:

Thank you.

MiniMasterpiece Commissions

I have received some queries regarding commissions and a lot of people never get back to me after receiving info of my rates. Seeing as how I really like fellow deviant (and friend) *Aerion-the-Faithful's miniMasterpieces I have decided to open up for this sort of commissions myself.
Effective as of today and during whatever it takes to complete the orders I am available for these sort of commissions. The fun stuff is, the price of these small images will be ridiculous: just $20!

But, what is exactly a MiniMasterpiece? It’s this:

One(!) of the above is a miniMasterpiece.
It’s exactly the same as a fully rendered illustration from me, but small. Its size being approximately 6”x2”.
How does this work? Exactly as my regular commissions process: you send me a Note, we talk about what you want, you deliver the payment and we start on your piece. Once it’s done, I’ll send the original to you!
Since I work digitally, this means that I will mail you your piece. I can also, for a smaller fee ($3) Send you a dvd with the image on. If you order several miniMasterpieces I will ship the dvd for free automatically, direct to your home!

Payment? I use PayPal. It is easy and direct. Unfortunately I do not use any other paymentsystems just yet.
I do not charge any extra fees for Paypals fees, they are included in the price for these miniMasterpieces!

What can you get? ANYTHING. From the darkness of the 41st Millenium of Warhammer 40,000 or Fantasy realms to Comicbook Heroes; Your favourite flower arrangement, The Primarchs of the Emperor, world of Warcraft characters or the likes are all available. Just bear in mind that they have to fit within that said 6”x2” frame, so there isn’t a chance for a battle to be drawn! For that, you have to commission a regular illustration :)

If you wish to commission me or =Airgid for regular illustrations, conceptual artwork or the likes then feel free to either note us through our accounts or through the Studio-account.

I bow to your superiorness, I love your Wacom contest entry, mine had no chance with yours in the runnings too, but life is life, and I congragulate you on the semi-finals
Thank you, I was quite surprised to see my entry going to the semi's so I'm baffled at it still.
Don't give up, keep going, I spent the last 6 years painting 2-8 hours a day and now I finally get some results. Competitions are a great way to practice and a great way to see when you are improving, I recommend Conceptart.org, their forums and their weekly competitions. :)
