Blogposts

Studio Colrouphobia is  ~1mpact & ~Airgid
Studiocolrouphobia.net is up and running. We will be doing updates on Mondays (sketches) and Wednesdays (blogposts, info etc.) and other then that sometimes we will just add images and info as it comes.

So why not surf over there, check out some things that aren't on Deviantart and leave a comment or so.

Ahsoka

Quite a while back I posted an image on Deviantart of Ahsoka as a grown up woman. It was removed by DA for a weird reason (Nudity of underaged character, the image doesnt show an underaged character, she isn't nude...) but it got a lot of attention on some SW groups before. After it was removed I got a multitude of queries about this piece so I have now posted it on my proffessional webpage in a blogpost here:

studiocolrouphobia.net directlink to the post-> [link]

Hope you enjoy and if you would like to see more SW art in the future, let me know and I will put it on the agenda (and post it on DA, provided that it doesnt get removed for unspecified reasons again).

NDA's and whatnots

I have some jobs still in store for future that are under NDA. One being a bookcover that I am currently working on and looking forward to present once I can!

Also shortly some other images will come up in the gallery, here on DA, mainly personal pieces and portfolio pieces. To be 100% sure to catch all new updates, though, check out studiocolrouphobia.net regularily...why there is something new (wip) posted there today even....

General
--------

NOTE ME your commission.
These aren't sketches, they're illustrations.
Amounts listed are shown in Euro. To find out how much it means just go to this google link [link] and change the "1" in the inquiry-line to whatever number you wish to have there, also, alter USD to your own currency to know how much it is if you don't pay in American Dollars. Payments are accepted up front after arrangements have been made.
I currently only accept funds via pay-pal.
I must be notified of time sensitive deadlines up front.

I do not do refunds. As a freelance illustrator I represent my own company. We have taxes, insurances and other bills to pay, this before we can take out any salaries. For this reason I will always deliver what I have been commissioned for, but I charge up-front and there are no refunds.
What I won't do: I'm not picky, present your concept and I will let you know.
I have my own style, painterly-realistic, but I can also add a flair in accordance to any other artist's style if that is a requirement, examples of this are the Chris Foss, John Berkey flairs of this image where it is visibly my own style but influenced by other artists as per request of the client.

All commissions are digital and sent to you by e-mail.
For a small fee (cost of the printers + postage) I can make a high-end print out, mounted print or framed print. Please email for further information.

Other info
--------

You will be noted or emailed with detailed information upon your notice of commission interest.

A large resolution PSD is available for all digital commissions for private use only. Not for reproduction rights.

I retain the right to use all commissioned artwork for my portfolio. This means that I will use your commission in my portfolio in various places and on various forums on the internet to showcase what I can do. If you have reservations against this please notify me about this up-front as I charge more to hand all rights to a piece over to you

If you wish to commission me or ~Airgid for regular illustrations, conceptual artwork or the likes then feel free to either note us through our accounts or mail us through studio.colrouphobia@gmail.com

Whats your Games Workshop/40k background if I may ask? you come from the tabletop, the computer games, books etc? or are you new? We have members from all aspects of 40k so you will be sure to find someone to get along with, jump in mumble sometime.

Hello there, I tried to reply earlier but the reply was lost to the void.

I was first introduced to GW in 93/94 when a mate in upper secondary school showed me some Imperial Guard book (I believe it was first or second edition). I started playing Chaos, mainly focusing on Thousand Sons, and played the tabletop game until 99, when I put the figurines on the shelf.
I still maintained an interest of the rich universe of GW and kept getting White Dwarf and Inferno.

I also got a hold of Warhammer Monthly, which was gold.

In 2002 I got me a tablet and began painting digitally and in a couple of years I started getting quite some attention. Pretty early I got commissions from people with interest in the 40k universe and so I can honestly say I owe my career (which is illustration as a whole, and not just 40k or GW related illustration) to fans of 40k that gave me some well needed first jobs.

Mumble I read a couple of times, but I do not have that program, nor do I know where/how to join it, or even if I have time to ;) but if you let me know (at the right place, perhaps "Brother"?) and I will see what I can do :)
